Hey Guys!

So I have this idea of doing a FAN ART CONTEST around my comic and I want to give some cool prizes, I still even dunno how much can I afford, but the truth is that I’ve never done anything like this, so I could really use some ideas from you

this are my thoughts so far:

• Wacom tablets for first and second place, DA memberships, some Kimecan merch (I dunno, t-shirts, stickers?...any ideas?)

• I guess I would use kimecan.deviantart.com to post the artwork, and people would have to join the group to submit a piece.


• it would be cool if the members could vote the winners, but is it posible to do that here at DA? is that a good idea? can it get messy?

• I think it would be awesome if instead of a contest, the whole thing felt more like a tournament, with elimination rounds or something like that...(too     complicated?)

I’m about to finish book 1 and things are looking really swell and promising and since TDK’s first anniversary I’ve been wanting to celebrate it somehow. Now that I was planning my advertising budget for the year, I thought that this a much better idea to spread the word about my comic than just spending my savings in ads- and a lot more fun too!-

good idea? am I insane? should I throw a party instead? buy some clothes? pleasePLEASE share your thoughts

Ok guys, I have a lot of pages from my comic that I have to post in order to reach the page count on the website. Posted page 13 here today but this week's update on the site features page 53 (!!!) so I have no other choice, but to bomb you for the upcoming days with pages, pages... and more pages

We have to include the pages in our DA group as well, so for you guys who follow both things I know it can be way too much, so thank you so much for your understanding.

I'll do my best to post other stuff unrelated to TDK, promise!

I'm doing my comic and that makes me a very happy, fulfilled man, but IT"S NOT EASY AT ALL 'cause I'm still not able to make a living  out of it, so please PLEASE support the project by spreading the word. Eventually that should do the trick...

That goes for me, at least and that's why I've started a new section at the kimecan blog called the kimetracks. It features songs that I listen while doing the comic, many of them have inspired great moments and even concepts for the story, and other just put me in the right mood to work with my characters.

Thanks to all of you who gave me a Llama badge, As you may have noticed I'm quite behind on things, so it's taking me some time to go with each one of you to give you one back, but I will

I also wanted to say that I haven't forgotten about those pending free commissions I have with some of you. I thank you guys for your patience on this. Life changed so abruptly that I'm still fighting to catch up with everything.

Hey comrades in combat!

Hope you're all doing great, I from my part, can't believe that almost half year has gone by, damn...

But it has been time very well spent doing what I enjoy the most and fighting voraciously to reach those goals I set for myself months ahead.

The comic is doing great, with 21 uninterrupted updates so far and working in a whole bunch of things to make the site and the experience even better. I don't get as much comments or feedback as I would like to but still, I'm very happy that so many people all over the world are tuning each Tuesday to follow this adventure.
